Weddings
Your wedding is a special time for you, for your family, your friends and for the church. A Christian wedding provides a wonderful beginning for your new life together. We at East Valley Bible Church make every effort to assist you in planning your wedding and have it based on Christian principles. Wedding Application. (Download Application)
The first step in scheduling a wedding at EVBC is to complete the Wedding /Prep For Marriage Application and return it to the Campus Coordinator at the church office. This application is needed to schedule a wedding at EVBC, be married by an EVBC pastor, and/or to attend the Prep For Marriage class. Applications can be downloaded from the link below or obtained by contacting Susan Miller, Campus Coordinator at 480.889.3636 or susanmiller@evbc.org
Attendance
It is required that either or both the bride and groom are regularly and actively attending EVBC to hold a wedding here. Some exceptions have been made (such as students who no longer live here). Membership is not a requirement.
Pastor Interview
Once your completed application is received, you will be contacted to setup an initial interview with one of the East Valley Bible Church Pastors (usually the pastor who will perform the wedding ceremony). Should you desire to have a pastor other than a member of East Valley Bible Church perform the wedding, you will still need to meet with an EVBC pastor. Once a pastor has approved the wedding application, the wedding date will be reserved on the church calendar.
Marriage Preparation(Download Application)
The sacredness of marriage is described throughout the Bible. In light of this, East Valley Bible Church is committed to providing a Biblical foundation for each marriage, through training and counsel prior to the wedding. This is accomplished through the Prep For Marriage class and/or individual counseling with the officiating pastor or other qualified individual. To register for the Prep For Marriage class, please complete the Wedding/Prep For Marriage Application and return it to Susan Miller at the church office.
Wedding Fees
1.Security Deposit – A security deposit of 25% of the User Fee is required to confirm a reservation and is due upon the signing of the contract. This deposit is in addition to the User Fees and is fully refundable once it is determined there is no damage or excessive cleaning to the facility after the event. Any Security Deposit to be refunded will be mailed to the User within 30 days of completion of the event.
