We are grateful and excited for this opportunity to share with you the vision God has given Mt. Nebo Prison Ministry (MNPM). Our role, by desire and design, is to be a tool in the hand of our Lord as He works within the prison system.

We at Mt. Nebo are committed to these goals: sharing the Gospel without compromising its truth and seeing our great God and Savior glorified through sound, clear biblical teaching. This is done primarily through the books, tapes and materials that reflect the teaching of our historic Christian faith. These are sent to Chaplains and individual inmates throughout the country.

We offer a 13-chapter workbook called, "Fundamentals of the Faith" that begins to ground believers in the Word. Upon completion they receive a study Bible and an array of materials on how to study Scripture. We also do one-on-one correspondence with inmates for the purpose of discipleship, encouragement and instruction in living a changed life for the glory of God.

We receive anywhere from 50 - 80 letters a week and each letter receives an individual reply. These letters are a constant validation to what God is doing through the ministry. The following are excerpts from some of the mail we receive.

How wonderful it is to see God's faithfulness as He provides the opportunities and means to meet these prisoners' needs. MNPM is currently active in 20 states and over 40 prisons. On a daily basis God is passing the truths we send through the hands and hearts of hundreds of men and women within the mission fields of prison.

There are literally hundreds of jails and prisons that have had little or no exposure to the teaching of Historic Christianity. We are committed to establishing incarcerated believers that are able to present the Gospel clearly and to teach those that believe. We are confident that out of your commitment through this ministry God will establish the undeniable, transforming power of Jesus Christ in the lives of many incarcerated believers and through their witness draw others to Himself.
